Worlds represent servers in low-poly models of the Earth on which CryptoCrusades takes place. They are made up of Tiles that make up the seven continents and the Earth's major bodies of water. Tiles can be empty or occupied by a Settlement.
When a Leader starts the game after the intro tutorial, they will be prompted to select a Region. Regions are made up of different Worlds. The World that a Leader selects determines the other players that they can directly interact with.
Tiles[]
Tiles are hexagonal pieces of land or water that cover the surface of a World. There are 6 different types of Tiles, each with their own resource(s) that can be harvested by a Settlement:
Tile Type | Resource(s) |
---|---|
Desert | |
Forest | |
Grasslands | |
Hill | |
Mountain | |
Water |
Note: Settlements can NOT be built on Mountain or Water Tiles.
How Worlds Work[]
Leaders use Worlds to find, attack, or message other Leaders. By dragging around the World map, Leaders can find Settlements that belong to them or others. Tapping on a Settlement brings up an info panel with the Settlement's continent, name, the owner's Capital City (if the Settlement is a Town), date of creation, strength of the Settlement's army, and the Settlement's Resources. It also has buttons that allow Leaders to launch attack or message the Settlement.
Leaders selecting their own Settlements will see the Settlement's continent, name, and its date of creation. It will also have a button that allows the Leader to Garrison troops from another Settlement. There is also the option of spending Gold to change the Settlement's name.
Migration[]
Leaders can use Migration to migrate their Capital City to other Worlds in their Region or others. After choosing a Region and World, Leaders will have the choice of relocating their Capital City to the same tile as their current World, or to a random tile (if their tile is taken on the target World, they can only choose a random tile). After paying 1000 Gold, their Capital City will migrate to the new World.
Upon migrating, Leaders will keep their Capital City and all building upgrades, their Gold, NFTs, and their Barracks and Market Logs. They will lose their resources, Units, and any Towns they own.
