Siege Units are a unique Unit that can be recruited from the Barracks. Their role is in supporting armies during Raze Missions.
Siege Units comprise different types of war machines and saboteurs, all with the goal of reducing enemy defenses. While they don't deal damage to other Units, they are required for successfully Razing another Leader's Town.

Because they deal no direct damage to other Units, it only makes sense to take Siege Units along with armies that are attacking Towns. Remember, they can only Raze Towns as Capital Cities are immune to destruction.
