Gold
Gold is the primary trading resource in CryptoCrusades.
Policies
Each Class in CryptoCrusades has a unique Policy tree that affects gameplay. A player can dedicate a portion of their city's Gold to funding Policies in Class Policy tree. During the Thievery Phase, players have the opportunity to steal Gold from an enemy city. An influx of Gold allows the attacker to invest in their own Policy Tree, while weakening the defender.
Boosts
Gold can be used to provide various in-game boosts, such as speeding construction of buildings, units, and Unit Movement. This is for the convenience of the player and to fuel the game economy, but it is limited to ensure fair play.
Capital Cities
The Capital City houses the vault for an empire's Gold. It is here that portions of a player's Gold can be used to enact Policies. If an attacking player wants to steal Gold in addition to Resources from a defender, the attacker must target the Capital City. Towns will not yield Gold, but will yield Resources.
Airdrops
A daily Airdrop of Gold is sent to each active player in the game. This public pool of Gold is funded collectively through small portions of Gold-based transactions that occur in-game.
Trading
The Merchant class has the unique ability to sell Resources for Gold to other players. This is a Policy decision that can be enacted within the Merchant's Class Policy Tree. In other words, other players can buy Resources from Merchants for Gold.
