2-Handed Infantry are one of the three types of Infantry Units that can be recruited from the Barracks. As an advanced Unit type, they can only be recruited after researching the Strategic Policy "Heavy Weapons".
2-Handed Infantry are named for the variety of massive bladed weapons they carry onto the battlefield. They are especially effective against other Infantry Units, but also weak against Ranged Units.

If you are going up against a Settlement with lots of Infantry, you'll want to take some 2-Handed Infantry along. They are ideal for attacking Settlements as they can counteract the defensive bonus that any Infantry manning the Walls gets when defending. Make sure that you pair them with other units to soak up damage as they have lower armor than either Spear Infantry or Sword Infantry.
